My digital pockets often
contain work that doesnt make it to a public arena
early versions, failures, trials, things which didnt quite
come off
Sometimes they come back to bug me when I should
be getting on with something else.

Don't you just love it
when accidents come together?
The sound loop [that is audible onmouseover the image] is a chorus
of banjo frogs. The voices of these critters were accidentally captured
using the sound bite facility of a digital stills camera while I
was snapping a shot of something else.
The pix came from errors that my PC makes when using the "print
screen" function.

it's quite simple and small,
but interesting, like the Bogey Ball itself. The screen grab has
captured the file structure and position of the Bogey Ball folder,
and its contents, in Dreamweaver, so as to emphasise the way that
the Bogey Ball is an on-going project on the web, as well as in
the gallery context. i added the image of what the Bogey Ball currently
looks like.
also, you might find something like a bogey ball in your physical
pocket.

The process from collecting
different materials for my web.works, which are created from online
found stuff (on the left), to the final web.works titles (right)
is visible on this files tree structure. This structure illustrates
my approach to web.art, in theory and in practice.

Site name - Kid Koma @deprecate
design
In my opinion "playing with materials" is the primary
purpose of a creative act. Kid Koma is an (an for another) experimental
laboratory of hypertext, culture, art and trash.
Links are like ideas cause we think in a hypertextual way and usually
remind to other sites.
Although it's the simplest self-training, it's only a cut-up.
Although it has no future, it's still growing.
Although it's on inter-net, it's in ita-lang.
Although it's art, it's trash.
(Don't worry, be happy)

Using the old Merce Cunningham
"chance-dance" approach to creation: old images, notes
and other detritus are recycled into this new construct. Now, what
ever happened to that
I guess I'll find it when I need
it?
