How can we connect/combine and interact with things to form networks?
We form networks everyday and they are formed for us, constantly
evolving with us, changes in technology and changes in society affect
these networks.

fears are normally hidden and tangled in our hard drives either digital,
physical or psychological as well as hopes. These are days in which
the nuclear threat and the urge for a better world are pretty obvious
but still alive. Never the less life goes on.

The Church of Software promotes
the files' entry in the art market.
Up till now the files have been used as a means to do an artwork.
But now they need to become a real buying/selling art object.
The Church compares the File to the genius and its primary support
to the Aladdin Lamp.
In the same way you have to wipe the magic lamp to see the genius,
you need to load the file to see it.
Till today Artists and art Dealers sold just photos of the genius.
The Church promotes the commercialisation of the genius
The Church isn't a net product but it is born in the net; and it
agrees with its characteristics as the possibility to have a total
sharing of a document without cancelling the concept of property.

The approach to the Church must be first contemplative and then
interactive.
It is not possible to use the Church directly as it is not possible
to use directly a theory without mediation with the referential
field.

One must exert every effort
to maintain multilingual compatibility of the hard drive interface.
Languages are to be changed on a weekly basis. Rotation of the languages
is advised. Among strongly recommended languages are Yiddish and
Latin.

My grandpa recently passed
away at the age of 98. Going through the belongings in his apartment,
my mom found a wallet with old money in it. Amongst the currency
were 57 one-dollar bills. The bills, although only money, are very
significant to me.
First, I loved my grandpa very much, and these bills provide a
link to my memory of him. Second, the
collection stands for the type of person he was. He liked the look
and feel of the old paper money. As with my grandma who collected
stamps, he saw a greater value in the collection than the monetary
qualities.
Lastly, and perhaps most important, is that I too kept a number
of the paper one dollar bills. Ten to be exact.

I stumbled on this SKINS.INF folder while I was absently cruising
my hard drive looking for inspiration (the date & time of this stumbling is recorded in the window). The text on the left of the page is the folder's poem and is exactly as I found it; I simply composed notes on skin (& related themes) using the found poem as a jumping off point & amplifying its erotic content.

Black Sun is an interactive
graphics creator dedicated to Julia Kristeva. Black Sun by the means
of melancholy
Identity is fluid, you constantly have to demolish
and gather it, it is not stationary. Mutation and transformation
are the conditions of transfixion and mark time. This matter also
touches the level of intimacy - you have to be plastic to survive.
The convertible graphic image and visuals are the reflections of
plastic culture and personality.

Im a sound artist

of my work is to create animations with soundtracks and I just did
this for fun really.
Rubbish Search Engine TM
"A frivolous piece, Rubbish search engine is an
interactive (kind of !) work. It pretends that it is looking for
a document in four fictional folders. Basically, the pseudo-program
is no good ! - It doesnt search for anything, it forgets what
you asked for and it simply messes itself up. I like the idea that
it is honest and completely useless!"

In thinking about the structure
of my computer file system, I sat staring at my reflection in the
computer screen, thinking about how hard it all used to be to understand.
I remembered losing files. Emails arriving and then disappearing
into my computer's nether regions.Strange virus warnings. Unsolicited
advertisements appearing from the ether. Searching for solutions,
trekking through file after file. Then I realised that mostly I
had managed it all with a wing and a prayer.

shareware is the contents
of our site, it is related to the body of work system shutdown ,
and was created specifically for digital pockets.
SYSTEM SHUTDOWN is a series of paintings, technical interventions,
Internet and Multi Media based works by Yoke and Zoom based on the
theme of the breakdown of technology. For this exhibition we have
been painting fractured electronic systems and deconstructing actual
computer equipment, stripping technology down to its basic components
and removing the user friendly interface. The work depicts machines
that are defunct, have crashed, have viruses or have been destroyed
by human intervention. Computers show blank screens or error codes
becoming victims of information overload. CCTV cameras that are
obsolete in their design. Circuit boards that are so badly wired
they could not possibly work are placed alongside motherboards that
are crudely smashed.
